Kokopelli Pregnancy Massage

Known as a fertility deity, healer and storyteller, Kokopelli is a sacred figure to many Southwestern Native Americans. This nurturing and relaxing therapy focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be by relieving stress on joints and easing neck and back pain.

A prenatal massage can help reduce fatigue and aid the circulatory and lymphatic systems of both the mother and baby.

Scheduling Spa Services

• We recommend scheduling spa services prior to your arrival to ensure desired times and treatments.
• Please arrive a minimum of 30 minutes to 1 hour prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for check-in, and to shower, relax and soak before your treatment. The warm temperatures and quiet time will prepare you for your bodywork.
• Late arrivals will result in a shortened spa experience, as your treatment will conclude at the scheduled time.
• Reservations for spa services must be guaranteed with a credit card.
• We welcome guests 16 years and older for spa therapies.

Cancellations

• Cancellations of spa appointments must be made 24-hours in advance of the appointment – during business hours – or the guest's credit card will be charged for the full cost of the treatment(s).
• We also require that cancellations of spa treatments be made by speaking with an Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs staff member and not left on voice mail.

Gratuities

• Gratuities are not included in the price of treatments and are gratefully received to acknowledge good service.
• The typical range is 18-20% of the price of the treatment(s) and may be made in cash or charged to credit cards.

Robes, Lockers & Towels

• All guests who purchase a spa treatment (with the exception of a Milagro Wrap and Private Tub) will receive a complimentary robe, locker, towel and the use of Ojo Signature Body and Hair Care amenities to use during your stay (a $15 value).
• Please keep valuables locked in your room, locker or vehicle. Locks are available for purchase at the front desk.

Lightning Safety

• The safety of all of our guests and team members is our highest priority. Should lightning be present in the area, we ask everyone to clear the pools, steam and sauna rooms, and showers, and seek indoor shelter.
• We issue rain checks for those who have been taking the waters for one hour or less so they may come back at a later date. We do require a receipt of purchase to show the time of arrival.
• If you wish to wait out the storm and continue soaking, you will not be issued a rain check.
• Rain checks are not available for those taking advantage of our Birthday Bliss offering.
• Refunds will not be issued due to weather.

Helping Protect the Water

Children

• Effective June 10, 2019, we will no longer be able to accommodate children under age 13 in the springs, however, they are still welcome in our lodging units and the Artesian restaurant.
• Please note that all children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an observer 18 years or older.
• We welcome guests 16 years and older for spa therapies.
